I have had major work done here...but also stopped in recently for "check engine light" warning. I stopped by and received prompt courteous service. Fortunately, it wasn't an issue but they also checked a few routine items for me. I trust these guys with my safety. I'll never go anywhere else!

I'm from Taiwan, a student pilot who had recently moved here for training. I bought a car from Craigslist and was lied about the car's Salvage title, smog check was fake, even the license plate was not not registered under this car. Helpless I was and didn't know who I could trust anymore in this place far away from home. But the car needed to pass the smog check in order to be legally running on the street. I googled and found Clovis Auto Shop, the highest rated place in the area so I went straight there and I met an awesome guy named Chris. He listened to my unfortunate experience and had sympathy about my situation. He checked the car and gave me a list of things that needed to be repair or be replaced. It was huge amount of work so I had to leave the car there for a while. But Chris was alway making calls or text messages to keep me updated, he made sure I was getting the best deal on things and even the parts that was too expansive he would look on eBay look for best deal and making phone calls to make sure it was the right one. I mean, I didn't have to worry about anything anymore because he made me feel like he was fixing his own car. In the end, the car's running perfect. I am giving this place a five star because I would not go to anywhere else but here.

I was told on the phone they were going to repair my brakes, sensors, and rotars on my BMW. When Fernando called he said what needed to be replaced I said ok. Then he mentioned my tires and I explained im not able to do my tires at this time he became very pushy after. I picked up my car and now my brake light is on. He is stating I told him not to replace my sensors which I never did. I simply said I can not do my tires at that time. I will not be taking my car back.

Thank you Christina for your review and the opportunity to service your vehicle. Yes we did replace your rear brake pads with new rotors and rear wear sensors. We are happy to see you were able to take advantage of our free brake pad promotion and free brake inspection as 10% of the proceeds from the brake repair go to Cleveland clinic to help find a cure for breast cancer. During the brake inspection we did find that the passenger side front tire was separated and showing steel cord and that Fernando did do his job and make you aware of the tires condition. We do not want to be "pushy" with our sales approach, however when a tire is separated and showing steel cords we will make certain we strongly recommend that you replace the tire for your safety. When the vehicle arrived the brakes were grinding as the pads had completely wore out and was now metal to metal contact. I had the pleasure to check you in and it was not a concern of yours to address the brake light. You requested we address just the grinding noise. We expediently accommodated your situation, being that your scheduled appointment was the following Monday, but as you stated your brakes could not wait. I also believe we completed the service given within your time constraints and budget. We invited you to bring the vehicle back so we can re inspect and make sure our work is good and not relating to the brake light issue. Those warning lamps and sensors on BMW's are designed to come on before the pad goes metal to metal and that is how your car arrived to us. If you would like to bring the vehicle back for us to re inspect it please give us a call and schedule an appointment. Thank you!
