Initially came in for a smog test. It took maybe 10-15 minutes. They send the result electronically to DMV. I didn't have a coupon but Phillip gave the discount anyways without me asking for it. I was crying inside. I may have found a trustworthy mechanic. He gave a quote for my brakes & rack & pinion, & explained to me what they're going to do. He gave me different options for the parts instead of just giving the highest price. I mentioned I was going to drive it to Arizona so he included free travel/ fluids check up & tire rotation. And I also got 10% discount with the parts. Oh and they also took the initiative to call the dealership to see if my rack & pinion was still covered. He told me that I still have about 15k miles on my rear brake (vs replacing it to make money). Very pleased. I'll surely come back again (knock on wood) if my van breaks down.
